"If passion isn't present, forget it."
Francis Aud is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter who writes and performs soul music that is almost as charming as he is.
A modern day troubadour whose main influences range from the greats Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson to Bill Withers and Marvin Gaye, Francis sings and writes soul music with an indie feel and a touch of blues in a way that is honest, tender, and above all, genuine.
Having performed throughout the greater NYC area at popular venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, DROM, The Bitter End, Sidewalk Cafe, and along Sofar Sounds as well as far down south as The Lone Wolf in Nashville, Tennessee and The Merry Widow in Mobile, Alabama, Francis is a consummate performer who knows how to work and wow a crowd.
He can be found on any given day wailing, weeping, and pouring his heart out throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn on any given day of the week.
